SJet Dispensing Valve
Modular Jet Valve for Consistent Dispensing of a Wide Range of Materials
SJet by marco is a modular piezo dispensing valve for low-viscosity to high-viscosity and paste-like materials. It combines consistent dispensing results with a maintenance-friendly design and can be configured for a wide range of materials and dispensing applications.
Benefits at a Glance
- Consistent dispensing conditions: Controlled stroke helps maintain uniform dispensing performance during operation.
- Adapted to the material: Opening and closing behavior can be adjusted to the specific requirements of the application.
- Easy component replacement: Wetted components can be replaced quickly and easily in the event of contamination or wear.
Four Valve Series for Different Dispensing Applications
SJet is available in four valve series that differ in actuator design and stroke:
- mtv/ssm/*: One piezo stack with medium stroke.
- mtv/ssl/*: One piezo stack with large stroke.
- mtv/sdm/*: Two piezo stacks with medium stroke.
- mtv/sdl/*: Two piezo stacks with large stroke.
The appropriate valve series is selected based on the material and the specific dispensing requirements. Different fluid connections and valve seats can be used to further configure the valve. Depending on the valve seat, either non-contact jet dispensing or contact dispensing with a dispensing needle is possible.
An integrated heating cartridge provides controlled temperature regulation of the material. The valve is controlled via a marco valve driver module.
Suitable Materials
The SJet valve is suitable for a wide range of materials, including adhesives, liquid polymers, polymer solutions, oils, greases, dyes, and aqueous solutions. Filled materials can also be dispensed. Their dispensing performance depends on the size and concentration of the filler particles.

Designed for Easy Maintenance
The material path and valve actuator are hermetically separated, keeping the actuator isolated from the dispensing material. The valve actuator itself is largely maintenance- and wear-free.
The typical service life of the valve actuator exceeds 1 billion closing cycles.
